Where to drink in Luosto: the hotel nightclub and Rumpu Bar on Luostontie, a pub in the shopping centre, a hut bar and ticketed dance nights.
The village has one nightclub, and the live dance orchestras play in a log restaurant about 300 metres from Lapland Hotels Luostotunturi.
Seven places in Luosto serve drinks. Lapland Hotels Luostotunturi at Luostontie 1 holds two venues: Nightclub Karhu, which the hotel calls the village's only nightclub, and Rumpu Bar, next to the Bistro restaurant and open to dogs. Keloravintola, the log restaurant seating 220, stands about 300 metres from the same hotel and opens to the public for ticketed dance evenings with live orchestras. Restaurant Punakettu at Luostontie 4 is in the shopping centre and calls itself a restaurant and a pub, with a local craft brewery section and Teerenpeli whiskies on the list. Restaurant Aurora at Luppokeino 1 belongs to Santa's Hotel Aurora, within walking distance of the village centre, and the hotel names a lobby bar among its dining services. Restaurant Vaisko at Hartsutie 1 welcomes guests in for a drink alone. Aarnikota sits apart: a Laplander's hut at Kerotie 10 in Aarniluosto, about 1.5 km from the centre, reachable on foot, on skis, on snowshoes or by car.
Vaisko is closed between seasons and opens for 2026–2027 on 26 November. Aarnikota publishes dated windows instead of a standing timetable; the current one is Wednesday to Sunday 11–16 for the ruska season, to 27 September 2026.
Karhu's karaoke is free of charge and K-18, live-band nights there are 10 euros, and Keloravintola's public dance evenings are ticketed at 15–20 euros. The 3-euro cloakroom fee is not included in the ticket price.
None of the seven publishes standing weekly opening hours: Karhu follows the hotel's event calendar, Keloravintola is by reservation only apart from theme nights and ticketed dances, Punakettu, Rumpu Bar and Aarnikota publish theirs as dated periods, and Restaurant Aurora publishes no times at all. Check before you plan the evening around one.
